NotesCraft AI provides an AI-powered service that converts PDF documents into organized study notes. Our Service includes:

• PDF upload and processing
• AI-powered content organization and structuring
• Generation of editable Word documents (.docx)
• Download and storage of converted notes

Service Limitations

• File Size: PDFs must be under 25 pages (unless otherwise specified)
• Processing Time: Typical processing time is 5-10 minutes
• Daily Limits: Free accounts may have daily processing limits
• File Types: Service only supports PDF file format

Acceptable Use and Conduct

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Upload content you don't have the right to use
• Process copyrighted material without proper authorization
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to bypass security measures or access controls
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use automated tools to access the Service without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Collect user information without consent

Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to content you upload ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store your content temporarily during processing
• Use anonymized data to improve our AI algorithms

We do not claim ownership of Your Content and will not use it for any purpose other than providing the Service.

Our Service

The Service, including its code, design, features, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by NotesCraft AI and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our explicit written permission.

Fees and Payment

Free Service

NotesCraft AI currently offers free access to its basic service with certain limitations (e.g., daily processing limits, page limits).

Future Paid Services

We may introduce premium features or subscription plans in the future. If we do:

• You will be notified in advance of any fees
• Pricing and payment terms will be clearly disclosed

• All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated

File Processing and Deletion

• Uploaded PDFs are processed and deleted immediately after conversion

Service Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Accuracy of Output

While we strive to provide accurate conversions:

• We do not guarantee 100% accuracy in all conversions
• AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions
• You should review converted notes for accuracy
• We are not responsible for any consequences of using converted content

Service Availability

We do not guarantee that the Service will be:

• Always available or uninterrupted
• Free from errors, bugs, or security vulnerabilities
• Compatible with all devices or software
• Maintained indefinitely

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOTESCRAFT AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $100 if you have not paid us anything).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NotesCraft AI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your Content or any content you upload

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

• We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• We will notify you via email or in-app notification for material changes
• Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance

If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.

Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and we may delete your account and data.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and NotesCraft AI regarding the Service.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
